The Fudge A'Fare is a boutique, specialist company and all they do is fudge - handmade and decorated to perfection. Their philosophy is to do one thing, but to do it better than anyone else.
They have been producing fudge since 1997 from a home-based business just near Hobart – Tasmania's capital. They own and operate the business and insist on perfection in every step of the process – nothing less. The result is a perfect fudge – smooth, textured, tempered, beautiful to the eye and technically perfect.
Of course, they only use the world's best ingredients in their craft and every stage in the creation of the fudge is done by their own hands – that includes the mixing, cooking, decorating and cutting. They even do the packing and boxing up of the delicacies too in vacuum packaging so they're as fresh when they reach you as they are when they leave them. All the fudges are gluten free and the never use artificial flavours or colours.
Danielle Quinn has been pastry chef for over 20 years and honed her craft in several high-end pastry establishments both here and overseas. She has won 6 gold medals in the prestigious Salon Culinaire Competition and worked with the WA Pastry team to successfully compete in the Berlin Food Olympics. Together with her partner Matthew Gould, who brings another complete dimension to the business, there's not much they don't know about fudge.
They have picked up so many gold medals and championship ribbons since they have been in business they sometimes feel embarrassed, but really it is no surprise.
