
Cooks in just a few minutes and goes perfectly with any More Than a Mouthful sauces.
Authentic Italian Meat Balls with Linguine
Ingredients:
3 - 4 tablespoons of good quality olive or vegetable oil
1 large Spanish onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 kg each of pork and veal mince
2 eggs
3 slices day old bread soaked in milk
Breadcrumbs/flour
1 cup grated parmersan cheese
Salt and pepper
Pinch of ground nutmeg
Directions:
In a large bowl combine meat, onion, garlic, bread, eggs and seasoning.
Add enough breadcrumbs to form a firm consistency.
Hand roll into 20 cent size balls and brown on both sides.
In the meantime cook the linguine.
To the meatballs add a jar of your favourite More Than a Mouthful pasta sauce.
Simmer for a few minutes.
Drain cooked pasta.
Plate up with freshly shaved parmersan and parsley.
Perfectly complimented by a green salad.
