A love affair and following dreams succeeds in more ways than one. Lynn married her Australian husband, Milton, and moved from Ohio, in the USA, to the family farm in Bute South Australia in 1988. This meant having to leave behind family and friends, not to mention the enjoyment of her favourite chocolate almond toffee. For many years, her enjoyment of this toffee was limited to acquiring it on infrequent visits back to Ohio, and the odd surprise parcel sent from her Mother and Father.

As Lynn developed a passion for cooking, baking and chocolate making, she decided to try creating her own toffee. In researching old cookbooks and experimenting, she refined a recipe to please her toffee palate. In doing so, she also pleased the palates of the many friends and family who agreed to be taste testers. Hence forth, the requests for Lynn’s handmade toffee began. After their three children entered school, Lynn re-entered the work force, all the while harbouring a dream to market her toffee products. In 2006, Lynn established Geraldton Hill, Bute South Australia.

Lynn manufactures her artisan toffee from her kitchen on the Geraldton Hill Bute farm. Constant attention is provided to selecting the finest ingredients when manufacturing Lynn’s Geraldton Hill delicious chocolate toffee creations to maintain the highest quality for the ultimate chocolate experience. Lynn’s favourite remains her handmade Chocolate Almond Toffee Bark dipped in the finest Belgian couverture chocolate, but she is constantly revisiting the creative process and refining her chocolate making skills and techniques to develop new combinations to provide diverse exquisitely indulgent chocolates.
